Oprah Winfrey, an American TV host, actress, producer and philanthropist was the first guest interviewed by Piers Morgan from CNN. Oprah revealed a shocking events early in her life on which, on her 14 years of age, she attempted suicide. This is shortly after she discovered that she was pregnant. But instead killing herself, she aborted her baby instead on which she thought that if her baby would live, she might kill herself. Oprah tried different stuped things like trying detergent and other things just to draw attention since she had the feeling of crying for help. After then, she went to live with her father and believes that if the baby had not died, her life would not be the same. She wouldn't be what she is right now. Oprah believes that the child's death was like a second chance for her.
As per Oprah,
"If this had not happened, my whole career would be different. So I went back to school, and nobody knew. Because no one had met me at the time, I would not have been able to be head of the student council. I would not have been chosen as one of two teenagers in the state of Tennessee to go to the White House Conference on Youth. None of these things have happened, and the whole trajectory of my life would have been different."
